Big XII Tournament Back In KC
The Big XVII Tournament is back in KC and gets kicked off on thursday. Every ticket is sold out as usual and the only way in is to find some soul with extra tickets. During the beginning of the season, I was sad that Iowa State was doing so bad, because they always bring the biggest contingent of fans to Kemper, and they love to party. Now that they are a bubble team and getting better, expect to see the hard-to-miss combination of yellow and red all over town.
#8 seed Missouri faces off against #9 Nebraska to get the tournament started at 11:30am on thursday. The second part of the session has #5 Iowa State up against #12 Baylor. Expect Missouri to either win or lose by 20 points, and a comfortable Iowa State win.
The second session has #7 Texas A&M vs #10 K-State, followed by #6 Texas vs #11 Colorado. The A&M-K-State game should be the game of the day with the winner trying to make a case for the Big Dance. Texas should beat Colorado, but anything can and will happen.
